high intrest question

How do you think that students ACL tears are affecting their return back to their sports?

  1. It definitely is affecting how people are getting back into sports, but it depends on recovery time. They could miss half a season to a whole year but it is still bad.

  2. I think it depends on the recovery time period; if the person is out of practice of their sport for a long time then it would be difficult for them to get back into the groove of the sport.

  3. It is difficult, nearly impossible, to perform sports with a torn ACL. Therefore- it affects the students ability to play sports. depending on the recovery time can vary the time it takes for someone to return to a sport.

  4. I think that an ACL tear affects a persons return of sports because being out for so long may cause you to be out of shape and not perform how you used to. Also, it most likely will not be as strong and it could affect how you play because it could hurt.

  5. i feel some people come back and aren't 100 percent back at their best because they are nervous they will get injured again.

  6. ACL tears do affect a persons return to sports, but if you have to determination and passion for the sport to come back clean, I believe you can recover quick.

  7. I think it was always have an affect on a players return to sport because once they damage their leg or tear their acl, they will be wary of their injury and not want to use it 100% to the max so they're almost sure that they wont injure themselves again. I don't think that athletes will ever play the way they used to before the injury happened.
